Inductive ring sensors
Dietz inductive ring sensors reliably detect small metallic parts inside the ring. Easy installation, short response times, high resolution, and adjustable pulse duration enable universal use in a wide range of applications.
Thanks to optimized shielding against interference, the sensors can be mounted very close to each other or to machine parts. Two different operating principles are available.
Ring sensors with static switching behavior detect fast-moving, very slow-moving, or permanently moving metallic objects inside the ring, e.g., for fill level control. Ring sensors with dynamic switching behavior detect even the smallest objects at the highest part speeds, e.g., pneumatically conveyed springs. Very slow-moving objects or objects permanently moving inside the ring are not detected by these sensors.
The dynamic function allows for automatic adaptation to changing environmental conditions such as metal abrasion, thus increasing operational reliability. Furthermore, special ring sensors with analog outputs are available. These are particularly suitable for differentiating object sizes, part separation, or thickness measurement.

Inductive Hose Sensors
Inductive hose sensors are a special form of the inductive ring sensor and are used where the hose cannot be routed through a ring for structural reasons
In this case, the hose sensor can be placed around the hose and also securely detects the metallic objects
Capacitive Ring Sensors
Capacitive ring sensors are used in particular to detect liquids in plastic or glass tubes
Ring diameters from 6 mm to 21 mm include most common hose diameters.
The adjustable sensitivity allows the hose thickness and the liquid to be detected to be adapted.
Optical Ring Sensors
Optical ring sensors ideally complement the series of inductive or capacitive ring sensors.
Their advantages are the possibility of capturing small, fast and non-metallic objects in a transparent feed hose.
Various ring diameters allow optimal adaptation to the feed hose.
